Help To Make Mental Health a Priority

Over 60 million Americans are facing and living with mental health conditons. Mental Health isn't seen as a big deal compared to Physical Health, but they both should be treated equally. There are many types of mental illnesses that affect kids daily. Kids should not feel hesitant or feel like a burden when they speak out about their problems. Many adults or guardians neglect mental health struggles that their kids face, not knowing the consequences. The stress and anxiety levels that kids face these days are the same as as the average psychiatric patient in the early 1950's. Also suicide is the second leading cause of death for teens today. We need to prevent these things from happening, and show these kids that there's hope and a better way out of these situations.
